Vanish - Me, My Autism & I

In this last Top5 Global edition of 2023, we asked the AdForum team for their fave campaigns of the year! Maud from AdForum in Paris selects Havas' ‘Me, My Autism & I’ film for Reckitt’s Vanish. The film has won more than 25 awards over the year including accolades at Cannes, Epica, LIA and a Grand Prix at Eurobest.

BriefStarting with one girl’s story, our evocative documentary drama film brought to life the visceral importance of a hoodie. Depicting Ash’s reliance on it to help her navigate the world. Without shying away from showing stimming, shouting and shutdowns on screen. While also showcasing the talent, friendship and humour of our protagonist. This film is not only about Ash, but also gives a glimpse into her family life. A family moulded by her unmistakable presence. Ash was cast alongside her real family and friends. Everything in the film is based on her lived experience.
