Sharon Maguire

Long before Bridget Jones's Diary Sharon was directing commercials and documentaries. In fact, she was just getting going when her first feature film became one of the biggest box office romantic comedies of all time. Sharon is remarkable in that she's equally well known for her beautifully crafted imagery as for her performance and comedy direction.

She has just finished filming her own adaptation of the best-selling novel INCENDIARY in London and is currently in development on several movie projects in the US and the UK.

Sharon has directed commercials for some of the UK's best agencies: AMV, BBH and DDB on major brands including Bertolli, British Telecom, Camelot, Kellogg’s, Volkswagen and Volvo.
