Title | The Forbidden Jobs (en) |
Brief | To combat this gender imbalance in the digital and tech professions, we have devised an unprecedented awareness campaign:The Forbidden Jobs. The first job offers to work in digital, completely prohibited to women.A hack of the professional social network Linkedin, censoring job offers in the digital world with the help of a “gendered content” filter.A provocation to encourage every woman to “see nevertheless” the reality of the digital industry and to overcome these barriers by training with Social Builder to access a career of the future in tech. |

Story | Social Builder is an association that puts women’s digital career paths into practice through orientation, training and professional integration.Working for greater digital diversity, Social Builder is the leader of the UN Women Action Coalition on Innovation and Technology. How to encourage women to apply for jobs that are tempting but identified as men's.The solution is to propose a campaign not giving access to offers but prohibiting them!Entirely forbidden to women, they offer a hidden job offer and the act of braving the forbidden gives access to an advertisement. This mechanism is inspired by the blocking of content created on social networks (violence, age, fake news), to make visible the invisible barriers that prevent women from accessing digital jobs every day. |
