Story | What does everyone need on Blue Monday? Sunshine. To promote the ID. Buzz (Volkswagen’s first 100% electric van), we transformed a billboard into the world’s biggest SAD lamp, giving passers-by the chance to recharge with a blast of 100% electric sunshine. Inspired by the classic campers of the Sixties, the ID. Buzz has sunshine and good vibes in its DNA. So what better reason to brighten up the “saddest day of the year”? Using special high-intensity bulbs, our billboard replicated the sun’s mood-lifting effects, giving serotonin-starved Londoners a much-needed hit of vitamin D. Recharge here. |
