Story | Firestone's lastest campaign marks a big change for the tire and auto care company with stunning cinematography capturing the raw humanity of Americana that only director Lance Acord could master. In the last spot, “Pick Up” unravels a cinematic :90 second plot-twisting film cleverly edited to tell the story of a young man using his truck to run away with his bride-to-be. The couple runs into obstacles, specifically a standoff with the girl’s parents. Only through daring driving, and dependable tires, can the couple ride off into the sunset. The spot is underscored with the folksy tune of “True Love Will Find You In the End” by Daniel Johnston. |
