Story | After the Lionesses won Euro 2022, women’s football has never been more popular. To keep momentum going and remind fans of the drama unfolding every week in the WSL, we created a season launch campaign showing the women’s game as one unstoppable journey. Capturing the excitement of a season in 30 seconds, we used 129 clips and stills that were individually rotoscoped and cut out. These were then pieced together into an animated collage combining multiple animation techniques, graphic design and stop motion. The result: a rich, multi-layered edit that dynamically tracked passages of play while representing the entire WSL. |
