NOMINATIES ADCN AWARDS 2017

ADCN board members David Snellenberg and Jelani Isaacs have Club ADCN the nominations for the 50th e published edition of the ADCN Awards. In total there are 229 nominations by ADCN Jury and Jury Members selected from 958 entries spread across 33 categories. The nominations for the Talent and Impact categories are announced in late March. The Lighting Ceremony will take place on April 13 at the Royal Theater Carré in Amsterdam. The full list of nominations for each category is on adcn.nl.

STRONG GROWTH IN DESIGN & CRAFT

The number of entries in ADCN with 20% growth compared to 2016, with strong growth, especially in Design and Craft (including film, photography and illustration). ADCN has also attracted many new entrants, particularly digital shops, craft studios and production companies. The number of nominations is compared to the number of entries remained the same in ratio.

CREATIVE ZEITGEIST

Managing Director Dinesh Sonak: "The nominations are the top 25% of scores and the Jury Members Jury together. The collection gives a nice and complete picture of the creative zeitgeist of 2016. All nominations are presented in the Yearbook and ADCN ADCN Gallery (online). Thanks to enthusiastic we made many new entrants to the scouting work of many judges, ambassadors and partners to participate in the lights. We they really become an all-round and multi-disciplinary platform for creativity. ADCN Jury will select the nominees work for the lamps. We wish all exhibitors, Jury Members and 183 ADCN members who judged very much for their participation. And congratulate all the nominees wholeheartedly with their nomination. "

THE NEXT REMBRANDT

The project The Next Rembrandt J. Walter Thompson Amsterdam ING has 11 nominations (both in Advertising, Design, Craft and Next). The Habit Animal Selmore and Ambassadors for ASN Bank has six nominations and Christian Borstlap (Part of a Bigger Plan) with his project All of Artis for ARTIS also six nominations. The most nominated agencies / studios J. Walter Thompson Amsterdam (16), TBWA \ Neboko (15), DDB & Tribal Amsterdam (14), Ambassadors (12), Dawn (11) Fish (9), INDIE Amsterdam (8 ) and Part of a Bigger Plan (7).

TALENT & IMPACT

The judging for the Talent and Impact categories will still take place. For Talent Lamp ADCN presents with What Design Can Do (and Young Dogs and RAW University) a Climate Creativity Challenge. Creative talents are challenged to come up with creative solutions (campaigns, products, services) that meat consumption will reduce the impact on the environment. Entries are open until March 21.

CARRE
